  1. Yes! Definitely worth reading to the end! I hope this leads to a proper relationship between Darcy and Elizabeth and that Darcy punishes Mr Collins and Lady Catherine appropriately (I think marrying Elizabeth will be a good start to that. I’m so looking forward to reading this book so thanks for sharing.

  2. I liked it, it’s got a certain mood I like it when they don’t have a lot of misunderstandings. Love all your books. I am waiting for it.

  3. Whew! Darcy under the mistletoe, help me. This sounds like the ice is beginning to thaw between them and they are about to head in a new direction. Loved this. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year.

  4. Thank you! After a hectic Christmas it was a pleasure to sit down this morning to read your excerpt. I hope the rest of the book will be coming out soon after the new year!

  5. Wonderful excerpt. I too like it when D&E settle their differences early in the book–just saying. Abigail Reynolds you have a gift for writing. Thank you for this little Christmas snippet.

  6. On the trips to and from my sister’s house and around the countryside, I have noticed the mistletoe and had meant to stop and get some. Outs does not have the berries, though. When I was little, we would gather some and hang it in the house, but somehow got away from the tradition.

Your chapter was lovely Abigail and I look forward to seeing more of it. Merry Christmas.

  7. Wow! Now I’m intrigued and cannot wait for this to release. Sounss like an interesting premise. Elizabth an actress? Darcy compromising her! Yes, please!!! Beautiful scene as always. You teuly are a visual storyteller!!
